Board President named

Congratulations, Sidney Purnell. Sidney was unanimously approved by her fellow Board members as the new Board President for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, PA. Sidney joined our Board about four years ago, and also currently serves as Chair of our Bowl For Kids’ Sake Committee. She has also been active with our Building and Recruitment Committees, among others.

Michael McCormac (first pic, left) moves to Immediate Past President after serving two years as Board President. We thank, Michael — who also serves as our Building Committee Chair — for his leadership these passed two years.

Board member Sam Padovani (second pic, left) was named our Board Vice-President; Elizabeth Hassler (third pic) remains our Board Treasurer; and Jillian Storch (fourth pic) remains our Board Secretary.
