Since 1968, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, PA has provided quality-driven mentoring programs to Berks County youth facing adversity. We DO NOT create potential, because every child has it. Rather, our staff and volunteers are there to ignite their potential and empower our Littles to reach that potential.
For as little as 12 hours per year (as a Big in our group-mentoring COUL program) up to an average of 8-10 hours per month (as a One-To-One Big), YOU can make a difference in a child’s life!
To be a Big Brother or Big Sister with our agency, you must be at least 19-years-old and reside in Berks County. You must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving history, and auto insurance that meets current state liability standards. Our Bigs must also be gainfully employed, economically self-sufficient, or a full-time college student; and volunteer candidates must be willing to complete our application process in its entirety.
For more information on becoming a Big, call the agency at (610) 373-5544 or visit our website at www.BigsInBerks.org
