Little of the Month – May 2021

Our Little of the Month for May 2021 wants to keep our communities safe; he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up.  Little Brother Chase is a 10-year-old from Reading who enjoys basketball, playing outside, and riding his bike.  He is looking for someone to spend one-on-one time with him; someone to encourage his interests and inspire his potential. YOU can be that person who stands beside LB Chase to DEFEND his POTENTIAL and to help him reach his goals.

For as Little as 12 hours per year up to an average of 8-10 hours a month, YOU can make a difference in a child’s life by volunteering in one of our quality-driven mentoring programs.  It is not about creating potential in LB Chase or any of our other Littles, because they already have that potential.  What they need is someone to ignite and empower their potential.

Parents/guardians:  remember, we are accepting new Little Brothers and Little Sisters.  We accept applications for new Littles from aged 8 through and including age 15, but Littles can remain in our programs until aged 18 or high school graduation.  For more information on getting your child involved, go to Enroll Your Child – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, PA (
