Little of the Month – January 2021

Our first Little of the Month for the new year wants to be a technology engineer when he grows up. Little Brother Louis is a 12-year-old from Reading.  He enjoys playing video games and riding his bike. LB Louis has been with the agency since February 2020, and is awaiting a One-To-One Big.  He would benefit greatly from having a positive, out-going mentor in his life — someone to encourage him; someone to stand with him to defend his potential.

For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has provided quality-driven mentoring programs to Berks County youth facing adversity.  We do not create potential, because every child has it.  Our staff and volunteers are there to ignite their potential and empower our Littles to reach that potential.

Are you willing to stand with us and DEFEND POTENTIAL in LB Louis or any of our waiting Littles?  Find out how you can stand up for our Littles awaiting a One-To-One match.  Call the agency at (610) 373-5544 (office hours during the continuing COVID-19 times are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm).  You can also learn more by visiting Become a Big page at https://bigsinberks.org/become-a-big/.
