41st Annual BFKS — Thank you, all!
The 41st Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake — sponsored by Tompkins — was a huge success and we owe our deep appreciation to everyone involved! This year’s event raised more than $75,000 to help fund our four (4) quality-driven mentoring programs serving Berks County youth facing adversity.
Nearly 60 teams participated (up from 38 teams last year), raising more than $33,000 toward the total. Quaker Maid Meats had the most teams (7 teams bowled twice), followed by Diamond Credit Union (7 teams) and Brentwood Industries (6 teams). The Herbein Strike Club raised the most money of any team (more than $5,000) and Liz Hassler from Herbein + Company was the individual bowler with the highest amount. Besides our Prime Sponsor, Tompkins, we had the support of a number of other companies for the event and we thank them all.
Thank you also to our Littles Team Sponsors.
