First new One-To-One Match of 2023

It’s another chance to celebrate!  We celebrate National Mentoring Month all month in January, and we also now celebrate the first new One-To-One Match of the year!  Congratulations, Ivy and Big Sister Celina!  LS Ivy and BS Celina were matched this week.

Celina said she saw one of our COUL Little of the Month spotlights in the Reading Eagle and wanted to help, so she became a Big Sister.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and siblings, reading, gardening, and making candles — while she is a full-time student to become a professional pilot.  Meanwhile, LS Ivy enjoys plants, volleyball, reading, and gardening.  It’s those common interests that led to their match, so they plan to work on gardening together and visiting different places that exhibit plants.
