Congratulations, United Way of Berks County!

It was another great year for our friends at the United Way, so we congratulate you and thank the many people & companies who helped make this year’s United Way Campaign successful. The United Way Victory Celebration was held on November 15th, when they announced that the Campaign exceeded its $11-million goal.

Executive Director Jim Smith was on-hand for the celebration joined by a few familiar faces — including Kevin McFadden from Brentwood Industries, who is getting ready to celebrate one year as Big Brother to Little Brother Ariel. Jim also got to spend some time with Board member and Movie Star Cassandra Weidner (well, she was featured in one of the evening’s videos, so that makes her a movie star in our book).
