That’s an easy question to answer…Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County benefits from Bowl For Kids’ Sake. More specifically, Berks County kids like Little Sister Alanie benefit!
LS Alanie and Big Sister Amanda are our newest One-To-One Match. They met for the first time yesterday evening, and are looking forward to getting to know each other. LS Alanie and BS Amanda both like animals and they both enjoy being active outside, so they already have a lot in common to start their new mentoring relationship. Congratulations, LS Alanie and BS Amanda!
The 39th Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake is just days away, but there is still time to form a team and join us for some FUN to HELP KIDS in Berks County! We have bowling slots available on Sunday, June 13th, at Berks Lanes (2 pm, 3:30 pm, or 5 pm bowling times) and on Tuesday, June 15th, at Hiester Lanes (6 pm or 7:30 pm bowling times). Teams can have up to five (5) bowlers. We ask participating bowling teams to raise a minimum of $300. Individual bowlers raising $150 or more are eligible for our Grand Prize Drawing of $500 worth of Boscov’s gift cards.
Besides the free game of bowling, bowlers receive a BFKS T-shirt and food/refreshments (courtesy of Subway, Dieffenbach’s Chips, Clover Farms, and more). Door prizes will be awarded while bowling. Bowlers can participate in our Basket Auction to potentially win some great prizes AND our BIG Raffle for a chance to win one of three prizes (a ‘Barrow of Spirits, a foursome package for Berkshire Country Club, or a weekend getaway to Vermont).
