Our mentoring programs have not stopped; our Bigs continue to find innovative ways to stay connected to their Littles; and our staff members are not only supporting our Bigs and Littles, but also helping families connect with the resources they need to survive and thrive.  This is what Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County is all about; what we have done for over 50 years; and what we will continue to do…defend potential and empower resilience in our Littles.

As the challenges of COVID-19 continue, our Little Brothers/Sisters and their families need us even more…need YOU even more!  Our Littles often face adversities, societal barriers, and more.  The time with their Bigs helps them build confidence and resilience through these positive relationships, so the demand is great.  Big Brothers Big Sisters is continuing to accept new Big applications as well as new Little applications; and we are continuing to provide virtual trainings for all incoming Bigs, incoming Littles, and the parents/guardians of incoming Littles.

Will you stand with us to defend their potential?  For as little as 12 hours per year as a COUL Big up to an average of 8-10 hours per month as a One-To-One Big, YOU can make a difference in a child’s life…not by creating potential because every child has it, but by empowering our Littles to reach their potential.

Find our how you can become a DEFENDER OF POTENTIAL by calling Big Brothers Big Sisters at (610) 373-5544.  Our offices are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:40 am to 4:30 pm during COVID-19 limitations.  Or you can simply go to our Become a Big page at
