Our Community Champion of the Year is Susan Belfer. Sue is a long-time member of our Board of Directors. She was selected by our staff as the Community Champion because Sue always has our agency in mind whether its during work, during her volunteer time, or even during her personal time. Sue has been chairperson of our Bowl For Kids’ Sake for a number of years. This is Sue’s second time being selected as the Community Champion (2010). She is also a previous recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award.
