Bowl a Strike to Defend Potential!

Seeking all of your superhero teams out there!  The 40th Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake — sponsored by Tompkins VIST Bank — is on the horizon, and we need YOU to join us with your super friends, family, co-workers, colleagues, etc.

Simply gather a team of up to 5 members and register your team to bowl by calling the agency at (610) 373-5544.  We’ll send you a BFKS team packet, so you can start collecting your donations by check/cash AND/OR you can register on-line at https://give.classy.org/BerksBFKS2022 to collect donations by credit card.  Each team is asked to raise a minimum of $300.  Each bowler gets the free hour of bowing, a BFKS event t-shirt, lunch/snacks/refreshments, and a Thank You envelope with surprises inside.  In addition, individual bowlers reaching a level of $150 or more in donations are entered into our Grand Prize drawing ($500 worth of Boscov’s gift cards).  We have three days for our superhero teams to choose to bowl:  April 19th at Hiester Lanes (bowling times at 6 pm or 7:30 pm), April 23rd at Berks Lanes (1 pm, 2:30 pm, or 4 pm), or April 24th at Berks Lanes (also 1 pm, 2:30 pm, or 4 pm).

Can’t make it to our bowling days, but you still want to help?  You can bowl on your own (bowl a different day, use your own gaming system, or even build your own backyard bowling alley).  Register at https://give.classy.org/BerksBFKS2022_virtual to collect donations for your bowling-from-afar individual event.

You can also sponsor a team of Littles and Bigs to bowl for you!  Sponsor a Littles Team for just $300 (co-sponsor for $150) and a team of Littles & Bigs will bowl in your name. Each participating Little and Big will receive the same benefits as a bowling team from the community — including the hour of bowling, a free BFKS event t-shirt, and lunch/snacks/refreshments.

The 40th Annual BFKS benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, PA.  Your time and efforts will help our Littles enjoy the continued services of our four (4) mentoring program AT NO COST to them or their families.  Be that superhero and bowl for the many Berks County youth served each year by our agency.  Join us at BFKS and help to defend the potential of Little Brother Ariel; help Big Sister Kyleigh ignite the potential in her Little Kaleb; or stand with Big Sister Judy as she builds her new mentoring relationship with Little Sister Gabby.
