Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, PA (BBBS of Berks) is happy to announce that the agency has been renewed as an EITC-eligible organization — an EIO (Education Improvement Organization) through the PA Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. BBBS of Berks has been an EITC-eligible agency since 2007. All funds received help to pay for our school-based mentoring programs in two Berks County school districts.
The program allows EITC-approved businesses to contribute a large portion of certain taxes to EITC-eligible agencies, including but not limited to:
Corporate Net Income Tax
Capital Stock Franchise Tax
Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax
