41st Annual BFKS — Thank you, all!

The 41st Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake — sponsored by Tompkins — was a huge success and we owe our deep appreciation to everyone involved!  This year’s event raised more than $75,000 to help fund our four (4) quality-driven mentoring programs serving Berks County youth facing adversity.

Nearly 60 teams participated (up from 38 teams last year), raising more than $33,000 toward the total.  Quaker Maid Meats had the most teams (7 teams bowled twice), followed by Diamond Credit Union (7 teams) and Brentwood Industries (6 teams).  The Herbein Strike Club raised the most money of any team (more than $5,000) and Liz Hassler from Herbein + Company was the individual bowler with the highest amount.  For a look at all of our bowling teams and some other scenes from our three days of bowling, go to https://youtu.be/iTBJdnXz0cU

Besides our Prime Sponsor, Tompkins, we had the support of a number of other companies for the event and we thank them all.

Thank you also to our Littles Team Sponsors.  Our Full Sponsors:  Phil Coles, Integrated Medical Group, Jarett Yoder Memorial Fund, Deborah & Chip Lambdin, Karen Meck, Doug Myers, Quaker Maid Meats (2), Riverfront Federal Credit Union, Michael Simmons, Jim & Barb Smith, Cheryl Spangler, UGI Energy Services, and White Star Tours.  Our Co-Sponsors:  Burkhart Refractory and Trupps Garage.
