Congratulations to Michele Joffred…the winner of the Grand Prize drawing for the 2018 Bowl For Kids’ Sake event. Michele was at the BBBS office yesterday to pick up $500 worth of Boscovs gift cards.
Michele was a member of the GMEA 3 (Governor Mifflin Education Association) – Cumru Elementary team. Coincidentally, her team was also presented with the 2018 BFKS “Best Dressed” team award.
We also want to congratulate and thank the teams from Quaker Maid Meats…our 2018 BFKS Company of the Year. Quaker Maid had four teams
…each bowling on two separate hours. In addition, Quaker Maid had two full Littles Team sponsorships.
Finally, we’d like to congratulate and thank the Met Ed Power Rangers team. The Met Ed Power Rangers team was our 2018 BFKS Team of the year, raising more than $2,000 to help us fund our four quality-driven mentoring programs. Nearly $1,400 of the Power Rangers’ total was raised by team member (and member of our Board of Directors) Doug Myers — making him our 2018 BFKS Bowler of the Year!
