Virtual Match Goes In-person

It was a first in their mentoring relationship yesterday. Little Sister Samantha was excited to show Big Sister Kristi her room, when the pair met in-person for the first time. LS Samantha and BS Kristi were initially matched virtually, but are now looking forward to exciting times when they get together in-person.

Our first Little of the Month for the new year wants to be a technology engineer when he grows up. Little Brother Louis is a 12-year-old from Reading.  He enjoys playing video games and riding his bike. Holiday Spirit at BBBS

COVID precautions…an impending snow storm…nothing could stop the Holiday spirit at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County! Littles and their families came to the Carriage House Activities Center in shifts to pick up gifts, enjoy some hot chocolate & cookies, and spend some time with our special visitors…Santa & Mrs. Claus! We again thank Performance Toyota, C & S, Loomis, and Alvernia’s Institutional Advancement office for providing gifts for our Little Brothers and Little Sisters.
