We are doing ANOTHER 6-part Healthy Living activity series. This past year the activities we held were fantastic, why not do it again?! This is something our staff came up with in collaboration with our TEEN Executive Committee and TEEN advisors. At the end of the 6 activities there will be a special activity! **(see below for stipulations)
There are a few stipulations to these activities:
- You must attend at least 4 out of the 6 activities in order to attend the special activity. We understand that our TEENs have busy lives with sports, band, etc. which is why only 4 are required.
- If you attend all 6, you will get to pick a large prize of your choice from the agency AND attend the special activity.
**The special activity will be planned by the TEENs who attend at least 4 activities (keeping in mind budget and travel–Year 1 was a trip to an amusement park)
THE SECOND ACTIVITY…is called Elevator Speech. This will be held on Tuesday, May 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The teens will learn a professional way of presenting themselves for future job hunting or school enrollment efforts. Specifically, they will craft a short description of themselves to be used in such situations, learn the art of controlling the job hunting process, and gain exposure to the methods involved with networking.

NO RIDES HOME – Parents/Guardians, please remember that there are NO RIDES HOME for Littles, whether or not they live within the city of Reading. Littles will NOT be allowed to walk home from the agency without an ADULT escort.
