Hello and Welcome to our Training Calendar page.
Trainings listed here are necessary requirements for potential program participation and offer great insight into our mentoring program, the types of children we serve, etc.
REGISTRATION is REQUIRED by calling our office at (610) 373-5544. Training dates may be changed or postponed due to low confirmed attendance.

Empowerment Training addresses the issue of physical & sexual abuse prevention -- as well as topics such as bullying, internet safety, and more. It is required of all participants (children, their parents, and volunteers) prior to acceptance and participation in our programs. The training seeks to "EMPOWER" our Little Brothers & Sisters by educating them. Parents and volunteers are EMPOWERED to help keep our children safe.

Parent & Youth Empower: Thursday, September 18th - 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, October 23rd - 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, November 13th - 5 pm to 7 pm

Volunteer Empower - General Sessions for ALL interested mentor applicants (required prior to program acceptance)
Saturday, September 20th - 10 am to 12 noon Wednesday, October 8th - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday, November 5th - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Volunteer Empower - One-to-One Training Thursday, September 25th - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday, October 15th - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday, November 12th - 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm **The "One-to-One Training" is not required for Big Brothers or Big Sisters in the COUL program.
