DIRECTIONS to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, Pa:
From Allentown (222 S to 5th Street to Windsor St.):
Take 222 South (directly from Allentown into City of Reading)
222 South turns into 5th Street Highway/Business 222 S
5th Street Highway turns into 5th Street (entering City of Reading, lanes merge into 1 – now in Centre Park area of the City)
Turn RIGHT onto WINDSOR Street at traffic light (landmark includes a Turkey Hill on your left and a Rocky’s Pizza on your right 1 block BEFORE Windsor St.)
Follow Windsor Street to a Stop Sign – Go STRAIGHT.
Building is about 1 block up on your RIGHT (cream colored with white pillars).
Parking on Street or Parking Lot just prior to the agency building (on your right – says Holy Spirit church free parking on small sign).
From Harrisburg (81 North to 78 East to 183 South to Windsor St.):
Take 81 North to 78 East
Take 78 East to 183 SOUTH
Follow 183 South into the City of Reading
Turn LEFT at flashing Yellow Light (onto Windsor Street)
Follow Windsor Street for several blocks, agency is 303 Windsor St(agency is on your Left – cream colored building with white pillars)
Parking on Street or Parking Lot just after the agency building (on your LEFT – says Holy Spirit church free parking on small sign).
From Lancaster/York (30 East to 222 North to Lancaster Ave. to 5th St. to Windsor St.):
Take 30 EAST to 222 NORTH Exit.
Follow 222 North (becomes Lancaster Avenue in Shillington).
Simply proceed straight ahead (safe to stay in the right lane).
Landmark: At a traffic Light on Lancaster Ave there is a diner on your Right – QUEEN CITY Restaurant/Diner, now close to City.
Stay in the Right Lane and go Straight over the Bridge.
After the bridge there is a Traffic Light.
Turn LEFT at this light onto 5th Street, Reading.
Follow 5th Street for about 1-2 miles until you see WINDSOR Street.
Turn LEFT at WINDSOR (at traffic light).
Follow Windsor Street to a Stop Sign – Go STRAIGHT.
Building is about 1 block up on your RIGHT (cream colored with white pillars)
Parking on Street or Parking Lot just prior to the agency building (on your right – says Holy Spirit church free parking on small sign).
From Philadelphia (422 West to Penn St. to 5th St. to Windsor St.)
Take 422 WEST to Reading (Stay to the left when Business 422 splits off to the right as you approach Reading).
Take the PENN STREET exit to Reading (Not the Penn Avenue exit to West Reading).
Follow PENN STREET to the 5th Street traffic light.
Turn LEFT onto 5th Street.
Follow 5th Street for about 1 mile to the WINDSOR STREET traffic light (you’ll see Royer’s Flower Store on the left about 2 blocks before Windsor Street).
Follow Windsor Street to a Stop Sign – Go STRAIGHT.
Building is about 1 block up on your RIGHT (cream colored with white pillars).
Parking on Street or Parking Lot just prior to the agency building (on your right – says Holy Spirit church free parking on small sign).
