Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County, Pa is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established in 1968 to provide free mentoring services to at-risk youth across Berks County, PA.

We greatly depend on the generosity of the community and our funding sources to help underwrite the professional expenses associated with helping area children.

Each year we conduct our Bowl For Kids' Sake and Golf outing as well as file numerous grant & foundation applications (local, state, regional, and federal). In addition, we are a proud member of the United Way of Berks County (funding from the United Way represents approximately 35% of our total budget). Finally, individual donors contribute towards our Mission and help underwrite our annual expenses.

Our annual yearly budget is nearly $400,000 and includes normal business expenses (mentoring activities, supplies, utilities, liability insurances, repairs/maintenance, trainings, salaries, taxes, etc.). Over 80% of our expenses are linked to Program Services!!!
